In Home Elder/Autistic Youth Direct Care Services

One of the primary arms of Halo Effect Consulting is our Direct Care division, which offers in-home services based on individual needs, covering up to 24 hours each day. Our direct care services ensure that clients' homes are maintained to the highest standards, with daily meals and snacks prepared to meet their dietary requirements. We also provide opportunities for clients to engage in life-fulfilling activities and accompany them to all appointments, ensuring they receive the necessary support and care.

Life Skills Training for Autistic Youth

At Halo Effect Consulting, we believe in empowering autistic youth and young adults to become independent, successful adults. Our Life Skills Training program focuses on teaching essential skills through repetition, fostering growth and independence. The training encompasses a broad range of skills, including but not limited to:

• Personal hygiene: Teaching the importance of maintaining personal cleanliness and grooming.

• Washing and drying clothes: Instructing on laundry techniques to ensure clothing is clean and well-maintained.

• Cleaning living areas: Guiding clients in keeping their living spaces tidy and organized.

• Cooking with safety: Educating on safe cooking practices to prepare nutritious meals.

• Shopping for household items and food: Helping clients develop skills to shop effectively and budget their resources.

• Doctor visits: Assisting clients in managing and attending medical appointments independently.

• Routine development: Encouraging the establishment of daily routines that promote structure and stability.

• Project-specific tasks: Providing support for achieving educational goals, financial training, transportation, independent housing, parenting classes, knowing when it's time for a break, and self-care.

Transportation Service

Halo Effect Consulting also offers quality transportation services to our clients. We ensure that clients are picked up from their homes and dropped off at their requested destinations safely and promptly. If additional services are needed, such as direct care, our team will accompany the client to their events, ensuring they have the necessary support throughout the day. We also return clients to their homes, escorting them inside and staying with them as determined by the client's contract.
